Don’t Lose Your Grip
In Uncategorized on December 29, 2006 at 6:01 pmSuccess is a multi-disciplinary effort. It is so easy to lose your grip on what you are doing. You may be working hard for weeks, day-and-night, and then you decide to slow down one minute and everything start to spiral downhill. It is very easy to lose consciousness, lose focus, and lose direction on your dream when you are swamped by so many things to do. This is the most dangerous thing that can happen to anyone. To lose your grip on what you should be doing at the most crucial moment when everything matters. In Over The Top, in the final arm-wrestling match, the two finalist Lincoln Hawk and the burly guy, had their hands locked together. In the pressure and intensity of the moment, their hands slipped. Of course this was a ploy used by the bad guy to gain advantage of the situation. On the other hand it shows how easy we can lose our grip in the heat of the battle. I reckon the most powerful thing to do, is to take one step in front of the other, gradually progressing forward. It would not be long before you have successfully accomplished your goals.

Final Day in Singapore
In Uncategorized on December 28, 2006 at 6:36 amToday is our fifth and final day in Singapore. Everything went on smoothly. Unlike the previous days where we got up early and left the house with shopping and sight-seeing agenda, today I spent the whole time at home to complete my Pal Pal and Clickbank registration. After having initial problems yesterday (like anything in life) , i decided to delete the account and start all over again. And today I managed to input all the registration details and activated both accounts. It wasn’t so complicated as I had feared. One thing I learnt about fear, is that what you fear will usually come true. But now after completing this, I am ready to go.
The journey continues….
Go The Distance T-shirt
In Uncategorized on December 28, 2006 at 6:30 amWe decided to go to Vivo City at Harbourfront for some sightseeing and shopping activities today, as this is a new centre which opened recently. The place is huge. After alighting from the MRT – I spent most of my writing in the train, completing my theory of conscious vs subconscious, and the space for being. At Vivo, we headed for Food Republic, one of the biggest and most awesome eating places I have seen . The interior was designed with a theme from the past, with rows of shops serving local food using utensils, wall decor, food packaging, signboard and even the uniform that look authentically real and created a special ambience. Even the food tasted great. This is one of the wonders of Singapore which continues to surprise me everytime. After lunch we headed to a $2 shop, where we bought a few bags of stuff. It is unbelievable the range of quality items they have here at that low price.
While walking along the shops, I stumbled upon a clothes shop called Lonsdale (London) here they sell some casual apparel like T-shirts and shorts as well as boxing gear. The staff was friendly and I requested her to take a photo of me, next to the black-and-white wall picture of Muhammad Ali. Then while browing through the shop, she took a T-shirt for me with the words Go The Distance… with pictures of two boxers in front. this is a really cool T-shirt don’t you think?
