The Secret

I watched a DVD called the Secret several months ago, which talks about the power of intention and visualisation, how you attract what you think about, which is essentially how the mind works, and I am seeing the miracle happening right before me these two days.. I started on The Real Rocky Challenge project on Nov 22, this year, and I gave myself a month to kick it off by Dec 22 to coincide with the premiere of Rocky 6. All along I thought I was alone in this “fight” with no one to help or support me. But I went ahead anyway, full of faith, passion and confidence that this is a worthy cause, and I am willing to make it work, with no promises of success. You could say it was blind faith, but I was determined it would succeed and I managed to enrol my friends for their support. Anyway this is my last mile with Rocky and I have nothing to lose. So for the past three weeks I was toiling everyday, burning the midnight oil to get this project up and running to meet my deadline. Then suddenly I decided to be “bold” and sent Jackie an e-mail yesterday. It was out of the blue as it has been more than a year since we last communicated and I was surprised to get an immediate response saying that she has been trying to reach me for the past couple of weeks?!!! When I checked my other mail account, I found those e-mails she sent me dated Nov 19, 20, and 21 – the days when I was intensely sharing my Rocky dreams and vision with a friend at WIS, who went out of her way to support me. What coincidence, and the power of thought is almost instantaneous. I got a few more e-mails form Jackie today about her plans to come down for a visit and how Sylvester would be pleased to meet me in Thailand at the set of Rambo IV. This is simply too good to be true. But like my friend Philip said it is not everyday that you get second chances, so this time around, I am determined for it to be good. Now that I have stepped forward with my Real Rocky challenge, I will proceed with it, and the opportunity to meet Jackie and Sylvester would be a huge bonus. But whatever the case I should not lose track of my vision and mission which is in coming our with the Real Rocky Challenge to unite the Rocky’s from the world and create a platform for them to share their inspiring real life stories. Unlike all the missed opportunities previously, now I really mean business and I am prepared to go the distance to make this dream a reality, to experience something which I have not experienced before. Take it highter, fight with fire, your heart’s desire, over the top!
